bio

Dana Miller graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a BFA in Photography in 1996. While in San Francisco, she exhibited in group and solo shows throughout the Bay Area and studied with Todd Hido at The California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA. In 2002 she moved to New York and received her MFA in Photography from Bard College in 2005. Dana had her first solo exhibition in New York at the Jen Bekman Gallery in November, 2004, and has been written about in the New York Times, the Village Voice, Leica Fotografie International, and Art in America. She is in the collection of VISA New York and is a recipient of the Camera Club of New York's Residency program for 2006-7. She currently lives and works in New York City.
